■ The Challenge

While the lower flight followed a straightforward run, the upper flight required complex winding at both the top and bottom to fit within a tight footprint. Balancing space efficiency, cost, and visual impact was key, particularly as the staircase would be clearly visible from the main living level.

■ The Solution

A bespoke winding central spine design maximised the available space while maintaining clean lines and a refined finish. By investing in a more complex layout and higher-quality materials, the staircase became a standout feature that works seamlessly across both flights.
